Marcie Yager, LSW. joined the St. Joseph’s team in December 2015 as the Director of Staff Education. A social worker by trade, Marcie has worked in Long Term Care for 24 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from S.U.N.Y Institute of Technology in Utica, New York. After receiving her Social Work license in Maine, Marcie spent the early years of her career as a facility social worker and Director of Admissions. Most recently, she has worked for both home care and hospice in Marketing and Community Outreach, during which she developed a great love for teaching and education. Having worked along the spectrum of senior care, she brings with her an ability to connect with staff, residents and families, as well as community while sharing important information to the wellbeing and care of the senior population. Marcie chose St. Joseph’s as her ‘home’ based on the heart of its community and team. Marcie lives with her family in Gorham.
