Peggy Farrington, MPH, MHA, CDP, CADDCT is a Maine native. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, a Masters in Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire, and a Masters of Public Health from the University of New England. She has over 20 years of experience in the long-term care field, beginning as a Social Worker in a 28-bed non-profit nursing facility. Soon she became a licensed administrator and has worked for both non- and for-profit facilities. Peggy has also designed and/or taught national courses related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care as well as regulatory issues within the senior living field. She most recently held the position of Administrator of Piper Shores in Scarborough. Peggy has one daughter, Ashton. Her family is from Lubec, ME. Her dad was in the U.S. Coast Guard for 30+ years, so she moved around a lot, attending 13 different schools as a child. Peggy has 2 sisters and a brother. Her hobbies are running, genealogy, and medical history.
