A Maine native, I grew up in Cape Elizabeth/South Portland area, the oldest of 5 children in my family. Nursing is in my blood, coming from a long line of nurses; I knew at a young age it is what I was meant to be.
I earned my nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner and MDS Coordinator. I have had over 22 years-experience, having had the privilege of starting my nursing career at St. Joseph’s Manor in 1996. “I grew up here,” starting as an evening staff nurse, to night-shift supervisor, to memory care unit manager, to MDS coordinator, to the Director of Nursing role. I am very passionate about the work we do here and the people we serve. St. Joseph’s is my home away from home.
